Colored this thing, it took forever.I am not entirely pleased with it, but I will have to mess around with it later.
Figured I'd post this as its about as done as its going to get for right now.
Ripped the tite from a thumb, Obviously Frazetta owns this character etc.

The pencil showing through really did the trick. Much grittier and more fierce. I dig it man. Frazetta is giving you a thumbs up from beyond the grave.

Holy crapola. looks great man. nice take on death dealer. i must say, though, some of the grittier line work from the pencil drawing got lost in the final touches. Still, an amazing piece.

Thanks! Yeah I left a layer of the pencil in at like 25% opacity to try to keep some of the texture, but it didnt turn out how I wanted, stuff always looks different on the web than on my wacom =/ I think that the lack of gritty texture, and the line weight being too heavy on the viens on his left arm are what bother me with this one. I'll try to fix them if I can before I go back to school, or maybe over Christmas break.
