Had to do some fast colors on this, I'll try to go back and fix it up some. I think I got all the stuff for the assignment but I probably will have to go back and do the starts in illustrator.PS+cintiq over pencils.

No, just in general comic publishers and such dont dig really saturated colors, which was the main reason i redid it. This version also has it's negative space sort of diminished because of the amount of spatter and the floating stars so the figures and logo "pop" less. when you make covers you want them to sort of be able to stand out and be clearly visible from a distance so people say "oh my whats this ?!" and want to buy it over all the other stuff on the shelf. But yeah it's all a matter of taste so if you dig this version more than the other It's still a complement in my book
