Learning:
• how he somehow manages to accurately detail smallest ornaments, emblems or even armor in general remains a mystery to me. Maybe there is some computer magic in it? The only thing I can take from this experience is the utility of [Negative Spacing] as his style of delineation/detailing.
• Uses smallest/thinnest possible line weight to detail muscles or wrinkle lines
• loves to emphasize the trapezius muscles which results to the illusion of longer necks
• ≈45° convex space distance from the glabella(as its axis point) to the eye ball; I learned to build eyes through: eye socket → eye ball → upper eyelid(usually in his art style denoted by a straight line) → lower eyelid(usually curved) → alternate curved and straight lines to detail the eyes
• the Anchor Line technique revisited - Long Line-Short Line alternating pattern; best to track wrinkle lines
• treats hair like scotch tape or paper: have different directions when moving; also uses Anchor Line technique
