Independent Magic: Wind 1/8

After trying some water magic, Fennel decided to switch it up and experiment with another element. He made his way to his special hideout and began practicing. Deciding to start small, he focused his senses onto the things that so surrounded him. His efforts yielded nothing at first but the more Fennel spent honing his magic the more clear things became. Soon enough he could hear the nearby chatter of birds, the rustling of leaves, and even the clacking of a recently loosed rock down the cliff face. Though tedious at first, Fennel began to have fun. As a new sound was encountered his mind would set to work with the goal of uncovering the source-- it was like a game.

The quad continued to practice into the day, completely engrossed by this newfound ability. Though he could put a name to most sounds, there were some that were too subtle leaving him dumbfounded and uncomfortably curious.

Ohohohoh. What is happening to his wings? Is Fennel getting a new upgrade? I we'll have to wait for it to grow in to see.
