The way you've handled the light in this image is superb and I love the blance between each element in the piece, drawing the towards the centre of the image and back. An excellent composition. A sweet piece of work.

Thanks! perhaps had the fog not been so thick it would have been....fog has a way of taking the edge off of things....that and shrinking an image to 700x500 pixels down from 2592x1944, of course

this reminded me so much of my time in italy, where i discovered the beauty of these kinds of places. the black and white brings out a feeling of age and i can imagine that so much has happened in this place

oh, but you are finding wonderful things that i've never found over here too! i miss rural america at times.......the view anyways!!! but yes, the world is a huge place and there are so many wonderful places to photograph! i wish money weren't an object, because i'd be everywhere!
