You probably guessed but the stands for "What Would W.D. Do?"
I don't think Arthur and D.W.'s relationship is quite as antagonistic as it used to be. Being "mature", he now often tries to give her the benefit of his additional four years of wisdom (and sometimes it's actually good advice) but more often than not she's just won't have it
Arc continues on Monday (resuming regular schedule).

So I guess she doesn't think of Arthur as nemesis...... Yet.
Also it would be funny if I found a comic strip here that after all this time DW still thinks Arthur took her snowball! XD

I kind of wondered what W.W.W>D.D. stood for but would never have guessed what it mean. o D.W. Read and W.D. Merkles will be seeing each other again. I saw the next set of comics before I saw this one so some of it was given away. Thankfully I didn't read it yet. but that's how I knew about this and I wanted to see part 1 before seeing part 2. I like doing some things in order.
I hope things go well with the two girls!

W.D.? Heh, makes me think of the story D.W. was making up on the spot for the Tibbles, about the adventures of a perfect girl named B.W. "Hey, that's close! If it was D.W., I'd think you were making this up."

It makes sense that these two would get along better when they're older. Their canon antagonism seems mostly to derive from DW being deliberately annoying, which she probably now considers "kid's stuff". That said, of the possible duos of Read siblings, this one is the most volatile regardless.
