Posting this to celebrate breaking through another writer's block while writing TSW (the Spectre Wars), which is the sequel to: [link]

I love Ulrich. Why? Because unlike most teen heroes I can think of he actually takes his damn job seriously. Everyone of the the Lyoko warriors does, to be honest...but he is just so hardcore that his awesomeness actually hurts me.

He still has a sense of humor, he still likes to have fun, but when the world freakin' needs saving the kid gloves come off.

A lot of kid's show writers today seem to think that kids just cant/wont relate to kids as heroes who don't act irresponsibly until something goes terribly wrong. These shows are way beneath my age group, so why should I complain?

I probably wouldn't if I didn't have a little brother IN that age group acting like an irresponsible teen hero every damn second.
