Description
I decided that I really am going to put a conscientious effort into designing better outfits for D.W. and company and chronicle my work. As usual they're numbered after-the-fact to show the order I doodled them in.
For comparison:

So right now in the comic D.W is wearing pretty much just an enlarged version of her classic outfit (shown in the 'reference' window at center) with the addition of a blue shirt. In sketch [1], my first doodle, I went to the 'Old Navy' website to look up some actual clothing for reference (like you're supposed to) and picked up something that I felt fit more in line with her personality.

This continued into number [2] where the 'sporty' angle is pushed even further, it's the most detailed because I really felt like it was working for her.

[3] and [4] are both virtually afterthoughts; while I like number 3, I thought it was a bit too much 'fashion-over-function', and thus not something D.W would typically wear - maybe I'm wrong

As for number 4 I tried removing the 'blue' element so that it more closely modeled her age-4 outfit (where the blue is only on her shoes...which I didn't bother to draw ) but it seemed TOO plain. So all-in-all, leaning strongly towards 2 but I'm gonna keep working on it.

If something comes up that might delay the comic I'll put up something like this.
