Description Karma, League of Legends (Riot Games). My take on the splash art, with a slight stylistic difference and change (and less extreme pose); and yes, please note, this is basically the same as the official art, but creating it from scratch to finish has been really great practice.

I never noticed she's warding off the evil eye in the official art. Wonder why I didn't see it til now. Good job though, I like your work!

I really like this pose better. Gives the same effect of power and balance I think riot was trying to create, but with less of the painful back-breaking.

Also there is one thing. The left side of her face looks kinda outlined, making her face look unrealistically cartoonish while the rest of her body isn't. Otherwise, awesome job! Couldn't have done better myself!

Thanks. I understand Riot wants to go with the really stylized and dynamic poses, but unfortunately, sometimes it backfires. And no problem, you're right, it looks cartoonish!

I do see a lot of exaggerating in Riot's splash art. Sometimes they take it too far to the point where it looks as if they dislocated their spines and limbs. x-x
I really like this take.

At the moment I'm a bit too busy. Karma's splashes (traditional and skins) could definitely use a makeover though.

I wouldn't say Riot's version is objectified, but more that it's one of the examples of taking the body's anatomy too far to make an image dynamic (mainly Karma's back and spine). Exaggeration can be great to create a more active or epic presence, but in this sense, Karma's figure seems too distorted.

Great job! I really like the addition of the spine. I guess I don't mind action-packed, no-spine poses on some of the girls but the Karma one pushed me over the line somehow.
