Bright Sound ~
Well, as part of my 'experimental drawings', here you have something different again.
it's my usual style this time, but I worked with two things that haunt me: side-views and...HANDS.
As it's not a secret to anyone, I suck so badly at hands
but this time I decided to fight with this nightmare
and besides, I always wanted to draw something involving only a face and hands
so I did this. I also wanted to practice with watercolor, which is a new medium for me and I only used it once, on the previous work so this was a real challange but I managed to do it, even if for that I had to re-do the drawing (as the first colored version plain suckedD: ). Gotta love watercolors! 
If you listen to the song while seeing this work it will be easy to understand why this song in particular
but there is a concept behind it. the basic idea is that the 'bright sound', the sound she feels that comes from her heart fills everything with color C: did you notice that the flowers on the left side are gray? That is because she hasn't colored them yet with her song.
Yeah, this is kinda crazy but I liked the concept so

Tools: HB, 2B, 0.05 and 0.1 Mitsubishi pigment inks, 100% colored with Faber-Castell watercolors+Photoshop CS2 to fix and adjust colorsC:I loved working with this medium so much. I am pretty sure I'll do loads of works with it in the future

I want to add critiques into my page and this looked beautiful, so I thought to critique this.Vision is very lovely. Flowers in her hair and hand look pretty. Rainbow coloured hair is something different and creates fantasy into this picture. I'm not sure about originality but you did this from your head so why wouldn't it be original? Technique is awesome, you really can use watercolours well. Impact is 4,5 because to be honest, I need a pretty perfect picture to give five from all, and I didn't find anything bothering from the three first things. Would an excuse that it only contains face and flowers be good enough to take half star away? You really deserve all the praise and I hope this critique was good.

The first thing I thought when I saw the thumb, oddly, was what a beautiful title! I think the picture really fits it, too β "bright sounds" is a lovely idea. I like the butterfly landing on her hair and the flowers.
I think the hands look fine! Much better than anything I could do 
Her expression is great, too. Like she's trying to capture the sounds of nature.

I think you do side views very well... and you should definitely do more of those. The hands could still do with a bit more work, though, perhaps some more shading and a bit of.. thickening where the fingers are concerned.
I really like the colours and how it's quite... light, in a way. It's good that you've deviated from your trademark rainbow self, but.. there is still a good dose of variety here, which makes it more atmospheric, I suppose...
