A watercolor test with my new Pentel watercolors
what do you think, guys?
I used the tutorials I was linked to, and and I think for a first trial on a lineart/sketchless watercolor painting (I just did the lines on her face) it looks decent.
It looks a lot better irl but my scanner killed the colors

This is really pretty! I love how her hair is swirling like that, and it really does look (like the title says) like it's rising. The green colour is lovely, too, and quite mystical, in a way. I really like the dripping effects of the background and around her hair.
I think the top of her shoulder could be a little less defined maybe, but apart from that, I really like this!

I also like the faded blotches of colorings in the back ground, like a field of depth in a photo graph as blurred out in the back.

I like the little effects and colours you used on the background! Plus her flowing hair is gorgeous. The only thing that bothers me is the shape of the girl's head. I could do a red line over her if you'd like.

I realized it wasn't so much the shape of her head but how you placed her eyes, nose and mouth what seemed off. I hope this helps a bit.
