Description Outside-Staind
All the times
That I felt like this won't end
It was for you
And I taste
What I could never have
It was from you
All the times
That I've cried
My intentions
Were full of pride
But I waste
More time than anyone

Little bit of a vent, I guess. Facing some personal demons and crap. Plus it gave me an opprotunity to practice my digital art.

Took at least 4 hours on MS paint

Velspar is mine, art is mine, song is staind, etc.

MS Paint?! *dies* That's incredible! ... *jealous*

I mean, I'm sorry you felt you had to vent... but you've gotta admit it makes for a stunning bit of artwork... ^.^

Thanks for being understanding. =] Art does come from pain...

That's still really impressive... Not many would have the patience for that.

^.^ Yeah, I once heard a fabulous quote about that, as it's so true: "You can't spell paint without pain."

Hehe thanks ^_^ I guess I'm used to it taking time. -shrug- it doesn't feel like it's that long to me =]

Oooh that's good. It's sad, but beautifully true.

I'm inspired to try and use MS Paint now... Then again, I either need to seriously work on my mouse art skills or buy a new graphics tablet, lol.

And isn't it just? I think I heard it like, at least a year ago, and I've never forgotten it. It's just such a nice, albeit tragic, quote...

Velspar In reply to BipolarFishOnToast [2011-04-05 00:39:56 +0000 UTC]

MSP can be good to you if you know how to use it right. Yeah I've never used a tablet and I'm starting to kinda think I don't want to...xD

I need to write that down/put it on something... I love quotes.

BipolarFishOnToast In reply to Velspar [2011-04-05 19:00:42 +0000 UTC]

... You just rose even higher in my estimations! Jeez, you did that with a mouse? And yeah... I played with my tablet for a bit, then broke my laptop, so I haven't exactly earnt any skills with it anyway... *fail*

I COLLECT quotes. xD I just have to write them down or my memory decides to fail me. ¬_¬
Then again, I presume it's for a reason, since some of the more sarcastic quotes (that I find awesome) are so sick and twisted to others...

^_^" It's the only thing i've ever done my computer art with... like I always asked my parents for a tablet and PS but they never got it for me so I made do with what I had. Ouch! Broken laptop, that can't be fun. xP

I kinda do, in a way. I used to post them a bunch on my tumblr and Facebook until I went antisocial and gave up on that whole social networking business. xD
Ah, dark sense of humor, then? I have one of those. Well, to a certain degree. “I think the next best thing to solving a problem is finding some humor in it.”

Photoshop is pretty expensive, ain't it? I mean, it looks like an incredible application, but... Yeah. ¬_¬ I got a tablet for about £10 somewhere and doodled for like, a day... And yeah, I overheated my laptop so it had to have a new hard-drive (which I'm pretty sure I overheated again... ^.^;; ), and now it acts like a bitch by saying it has internet connection, yet denying webpages access. ¬_¬ And it WORKED when we took it to the shop to be fixed, it made us look like liars! xD It hates me, I swear...

Being antisocial is fun, lmao... I have a facebook, but I barely use it... The groups amuse me though. And yes... Very dark sense of humour. Fairly subtle at times. No one expects me to find humour at sadistic stuff (I mean, I'm such a good little girl... ), but I do... Mostly. And that quote is great! So true! ^.^

... I'mma hunt a few quotes from my collection now... *smirks*

"If I want to hear the pitter patter of little feet I'll put shoes on my cats."
"I tried sniffing Coke once, but the ice cubes got stuck in my nose."
"There are 3 kinds of people: those who can count & those who can't."
"Never be afraid to try something new. Remember, amateurs built the ark. Professionals built the Titanic."

^.^

Yes, it is. A couple hundred bucks. But I got mine for free, thanks to a computer wizard that I know. ^_^
ouch. That sucks. Quite a lot. x_x maybe it's possessed by a poltergeist so it only works at the most inconvenient times for you? xD

haha strangely it's true. Keeps you away from the drama, at least. Haha I'm kind of like that, too. I seem like such a goody-goody but I watch horror movies and just laugh my ass off.

4/3 of people don't understand fractions.
ahha I'm keeping those, they're good xD

BipolarFishOnToast In reply to Velspar [2011-04-07 17:31:29 +0000 UTC]

xD It's always nice having contacts like that, huh? Lol. And a poltergeist is quite likely... My house is a bit mental sometimes. There's a rope to open the curtains that's started swinging when no one touched it... ¬_¬ Stupid cursed laptop. Then again, a printer at school hated me too; took ten minutes for me to attempt to print something, and failed, then my friend said she'd do it for me and wandered over like, a minute later with a perfect sheet. ¬_¬ *grumbles*

xD Horror movies scare me too much to do that! The Omen, gah! Terrifying movie... Then again, I DO enjoy creeping my friends out with random facts or horror stories... So yeah... ^.^;;

xD That's a great quote!

"Jesus loves you... But then again, so does Barney."
"I like poetry, long walks on the beach and poking dead things with a stick."
"There's a light at the end of every tunnel, just pray it isn't a train."

Oh! Found this one on DA somewhere, actually, I love it...

"Detail is the difference between a pencil sketch and a lush oil painting. As a writer, words are your paint. Use all the colours."

^.^

yes, yes it is xD
ITS PEEVES. He never got in the movies so he got pissed and possessed your computer.
nah school printers are their own monsters entirely. they have their own dimension of evil, even.

i just cannnot take horror movies seriously. at all. It just doesn't work. xD Random facts, ftw!

thanks xD

ooh that's a good one. Especially since I am a writer, hehe.

BipolarFishOnToast In reply to Velspar [2011-04-18 18:31:11 +0000 UTC]

Harry Potter references ftw! Hah, that's awesome.
I'd be so impressed if I had Peeves in my computer, because then Hogwarts would be real... I could go complain for my (very) belated acceptance letter. ¬_¬
... Their own dimension of evilness? o.O Oh god. The computer rooms just got a lot more scary.

Ah man, I wish I was like that. I'd give anything to be able to watch SAW with my friends and laugh like hell whilst they screamed... Then again, I could probably manage that if I focused on my friends and not the movie. Hm... *starts plotting*
Yes! Random facts are awesome. The fear of cheese is turophobia, y'know. *smirks* Actually, there's one EPIC phobia I don't remember the name of... but it's the fear that somewhere, a duck is watching you. How great is that? xD

You're a writer? Nice! So'm I... Except I really need to start writing proper stuff again, I get too distracted... But writing is FUN. ^.^

I lubs me some Harry Potter. = D
I'm still waiting for mine, too D: I think Voldy stole mine.

haha yeah I'm not superstitious at all. It's easy if you're with a bunch of friends, too. Cause one person starts laughing and then everyone else gets started and you just can't stop xD

Yep! I wish I could write more... poetry type prose-y stuff, but all I can manage really is fiction. I love poets but I just can't do it.

haha no worries, life gets busy. I know how it is.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

BipolarFishOnToast In reply to Velspar [2011-04-20 21:08:20 +0000 UTC]

Ah, it rocks... I had a history revision day before, and ended up trying to work out a spell for each letter of the alphabet rather than writing notes. xD Woops. (By the by, me and these other two Harry Potter fans couldn't think of ANYTHING for X, Y and Z, oddly enough... I'm sure there must be something. ¬_¬)
Damn that Voldemort! ¬_¬ Not only did he kill/maim/torture people, he stole the letters of wannabe wizards! I mean, we could've transfigured up some bearwhales and EVERYTHING!

Ah man, I'd start laughing when my friends start screaming. I played Monster Hunter Tri before and my pal screamed like mad and threw the remote at me, which cracked me up. xD And yeah, all my friends have infectious giggles, so a horror film would actually be incredible if they started laughing.

Yeah, poetry is pretty hard to do... ¬_¬ Learnt about iambic pentameters and such before, the technical terms for poetry are horrible. xD I prefer fiction... My knowledge of poetry is quite limited, but I know I don't like Thomas Hardy's stuff. ¬_¬ (Have to learn about him this year for A-level, joy...)

^.^ Phew! Stupid computer virus slayed me. ¬_¬

Velspar In reply to BipolarFishOnToast [2011-04-21 00:02:35 +0000 UTC]

XYZ? I'll consult my other Potter nerd friends. I'm sure there's something. xD
HOW DARE HE D8 Potter should've killed him off back when I was 10. Then maybe I would've gotten in.
And transfiguring bearwhales is by far one of the most important things you learn at Hogwarts.

haha it's always fun to watch your friends freak out xD in the... non-mean way.

ugh I can't do iambic pentameters to save my life. I can rhyme but I can't get the syllables right w/o major help.
I know the popular stuff but... mostly I like song lyrics and reading other people's poetry.

ugh I hate viruses. xP Fortunately my dad is tech savvy so any viruses I have are destroyed in like, a day or two.

BipolarFishOnToast In reply to Velspar [2011-04-25 20:26:05 +0000 UTC]

Google says otherwise, but it might be lying. Can't say I did huge research on it.
And yes! It would be far better to be at Hogwarts. xD Scotland's quite pretty. Cold and wet, but pretty.
Yes, totally. xD If Harry had learnt that in his first year, Voldemort could have been eaten by a bearwhale and the problem would have been solved.

In the non-mean way, of course... Mnehehe. Mostly.

I can't /spot/ the pentamters... Can't do them either. I need to start writing again...
Some song lyrics are incredible... Really clever stuff sometimes.

Ah, damn you and your contacts! xD My dad deals with cars, which doesn't affect me. ¬_¬ He pretends he knows what he's doing with the computer, but he really fails... We're starting to have quite the relationship with the repair shop, due to my habit of breaking computers. xD

The wizarding world is just so much more interesting than our own >:
But that couldn't have happened, cause then there would only be 1 HP book.

I love lyrics. Lyrics and music... guess they just speak to me.

mehehe. I *know* people. xDD Yeah my dad is good at fixing stuff. He's a real tecchy sorta guy. Saves us a lot of money.

*dies at the lateness of this reply, and the susequent ones on the other convos* I'm sorry! xD I procrastinate too much...

Isn't it just? I mean, aside from the evil meglomaniac, the multiple poisonous/giant/deadly creatures, and the corrupt political system... It would be so fun! xD
And not neccessarily... Could've got to the fourth one, then the bearwhale would eat Voldemort when he popped out of that cauldron, and then the fifth might happen... Maybe the sixth... And the seventh would have them still in school, having a massive bearwhale tournament or something. Idk. I just think the addition of bearwhales to anything makes it instantly better. ^.^

It's nice when it's like that... When songs just click with you, and mean so much more...

Heh, lucky you! My dad tends to take things apart, poke around a bit, then put them back together... He hoards stuff too. ¬_¬ Fixed his motorbikes and my brothers' respective cars though... Must be fun to know what you're doing with electronic stuff, huh? I just fail with it... ^.^;;

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Velspar In reply to BipolarFishOnToast [2011-05-23 01:56:24 +0000 UTC]

haha no worries, I've been kinda caught up, as well.
We really should just exchange MSNs...

Well even that stuff would be way more interesting than the crap we have going on today!
Maybe the bearwhale ate Voldemort and then Voldemort took over it from the inside so for the last 3 books he was trying to take over the world in bear form?
Psh of course Bearwhales = +9,001 cool points (that's over 9000)

yeah xD My dad's usually too busy w/ work to take stuff apart... mind he loves to mess with our cable and things to make them 'better'. I'm okay with it, but like I said I didn't inherit my dad's tech-savviness.

... *headdesk* Shhhh... You and your logic... ¬_¬

Buuut... It's a valid point. tiger-wulf@hotmail.co.uk ^.^

x3 Yeah, I guess! Well... Ministry for Magic beats David Cameron anyday. ¬_¬ And I'd be like Hagrid. I'd /totally/ have a dragon for a pet too.
Your sentence is THE BEST I have EVER SEEN. Oh my GOD. Evil bearwhale running round with a wand, a robe and a bunch of followers? <3 I WANT IT.
xD Niiice.

Heh, my dad tries to make things 'better' too, but generally breaks them. ^.^;; I've got a fascination with technology, but no, I suck with anything mechanical. xD I can dismantle a pen, and that's about it.

k I'm ventiscan@hotmail.com =]

psh of course. Gotta love the MoM! ffff or you could be like Charlie since he works more directly with them.
xDDD See, you and I came up with a much more interesting story than JKR! We should've written those Harry Potter books. We'd've been way more successful.

My dad sometimes makes them better...sometimes he just makes them different. I like it when technology /works/... otherwise yeah, it's interesting, but not a big passion of mine. I'm def. not an engineer.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

BipolarFishOnToast In reply to Velspar [2011-06-05 18:40:09 +0000 UTC]

I have no excuses to offer such a late reply... I'm just so distractable recently. ¬_¬ Sorry...

Logic always defeats me. ¬_¬ I tend to make arguments that look really good till someone reminds me of a simple fact (such as the laws of physics) that kills my entire idea. ¬_¬

Heh... If I spot you online, I'll talk when I work up the courage. Damn my shyness. ¬_¬

Oh my god, yes. Dragon tamer? Muahaha! Fear my (slightly singed) wrath! Heh. I love it. ^.^
Yes, yes we should. And hell, even if it was just as successful as her bearwhale-less story, we'd bemillionaires anyway, and could thus fund our bearwhale GM production! xP

Heh, I'm not an engineer either... I just like looking at pre-made circuits and going "oooooh...". I can't make them, I hated Electronics at school... Then again, my classmates found it funny to try and solder each other, so yeah. Not the /best/ working environment, really...

Your anatomy is stunning. Your draw paws and legs, hell you draw all of it well! I like how her little personal demons appear to be coming from her mouth. This entire piece is all kinds of beauty <3 I MISS YOUR ART SO MUCH.

yuppers originally they were just gonna come from the shadow of a lantern, and then idk somehow I decided to have them come from her mouth.
Yeah that was sorta the feel I was going for. A sort of eerie beauty.

hey, both are good ideas. the lightbulb provides a good lighting source with the atmosphere too. you're very good at drawin lightbulbs XD
i hope those demons aren't giving her gingivitis, coming out of her mouth and all.
it is very eerie, it reminds me of a basement actually. like she's locked in there and is stuck with the company of her 'friends'

haha thanks. Been working on anatomy for a while, too. This angle is pretty simplistic tho.
thanks 83 yeah the lightbulb seemed more intense, stark, i guess. Seemed to fit better than say, a lantern.
Ugh that would suck. But no, she brushes. Every morning and evening.
yeah? I can see that being the case. Too bad I don't have a basement. Haha
'friends'... reminds me of that one song that goes 'Alll day, staring at the ceiling makin', friends with shadows on my wall'
