You're right! As an English major, I guess I'm aware of how much my fingers love the sound of their own keystrokes, so I wonder if I write too much sometimes (it's a force of habit, actually). But, for the most part, I try to let people in on what was happening... now, I'll use your reinforcement as a badge to do just that!

Thank you! I use a couple of different photoshop actions to turn the image to a sepia tone, and then I overlay the original color version on top of it, and then blend the two together to get the colors I think look best.

i can understand that, i'd like to get some feedback on my pictures, too, but unfortunately not many people recognize them.
i make an upload and after a few seconds they are lost in a flood of pictures and nobody ever finds them again....

yeah, it's hard at first to get anyone to notice around here, I know... I was there, too. But I just kept at it, and plugging away at posting. The two things that helped me get feedback were -- posting in the thumbnail sharing folder, and most importantly... commenting on other people's pages and work. That part was the easiest because I was going to do it anyway, but the more I commented on other people's stuff, the more likely they were to come check out mine, and it's sort of a cycle, really.
