Very nice shot. Again I like the lighting a lot, especially the hairlight looks great. What I would have done different is to choose such a pov/angle to show less of the background, but more of the foreground (where her hand is). That tilt is neat too.

Yeah, I think if I could do it over again, I would have done just that, but I was so into the look she had with the backdrop, I didn't want to move to get more of her in there! ha!

Sounds awesome! I wish I had time to learn photography, but I just don't... lol, maybe next year! Your work is great though. Where do you find all this old world fairy tale stuff? I love that kind of stuff, but some of what you have I've never heard of.

Yeah, there's always time to learn new things... or, at least I like to think so, anyway! Haha!
As for all the fairy tale stuff -- well, it comes from all over, actually! In college, I'm in the English department with a concentration on creative writing and analysis, so I read a bunch of those stories. I've always loved myths and fables, so I read them on my own, and I incorporate some of them into my own work, so I've got all sorts of ideas for their titles and likenesses on order. I didn't know you were a fan of stuff like that, though... that's very cool!

Yeah I actually thought about going to college for creative writing... but I don't see why I need I degree in it. I've studied creative writing since I was three and I learned to read. Besides, what would I do with a college degree? I'm not trying to impress anyone, so it's useless to me. That's pretty cool that your taking those courses though. I love fairy tales. I own the complete works of the Grim Brothers. The originals, not the disney'ed versions.

I can see what you mean... I had to decide on a path for the last semesters of the degree and creative writing was the side I chose, though my degree will be in English (with a double minor) alone. I love fairy tales, too... and I have a couple different collected works ilke you do, too.
