Description
This is another file I found lost in my Stash, say hello to Affable the Crimson, a very powerful and well known naga once, and Fortitude's father.

I wanted to show my main naga characters, Fortitude and Caerulean's fathers, Nefas was Caeruleans.

Affable was a very powerful naga who, along with his mate sired several children, most who were raised rather kindly into adulthood, unfortuantly for Fortitude his was their last egg lain as both were rather old by that time. Affable's mate and Fort's mother had reached the end of her egg bearing life, and the creatures who ruled their kind deemed her useless and had her killed and her last egg taken. Like Fort Affable was also once a General in a great army, he was actually a rather compassionate soul though and would rather spare then kill, this trait he passed to his son. Just like his son in later time he found out what they were going to do with his mate and child and abandoned his troops and rushed back to save her before she was killed, not realising it was already to late.

Because of his desertion he was deemed a traitor and sentenced to death, Nefas, Caerulean's father was the one sent to hunt down and kill Affable, picked for this job because the two had a history of hate between them and they knew the brutal blue naga would do whatever he could to end Affable's life.

It took a long time but Nefas finally did find the much bigger red naga close to where they had his egg, Affable was in grief as he had finally found out at last that his mate was no more and his egg was going to raised to carry on his father's mantle. He was now focused on saving his last egg and getting it away from that place, wanting to spare their last child the same horrible fate he had been dealt in life.
The two fought for a long while, despite their size differences the smaller Nefas was much faster then the bigger naga. Eventually though Affable was the victor and had struck Nefas to the ground, the smaller blue naga bleeding heavily from his wounds. However instead of killing the evil naga Affable decided to spare him, not wanting to be the monster they were being raised to be, and turned back, mind focused on saving his child.
That was his last mistake, as Nefas took that chance to spring up and fatally stab the bigger naga from behind, right through his heart.

Affable's life ended that day, left to die hearing the mocking voice of his life long enemy taunting him as his life drained away. He got some payback though before he breathed his last when the smaller naga bent down low to Affable's face and whispered that he had been the one to kill his mate, and he couldn't wait till his egg hatched so he could kill the hatchling to.
This caused Affable to gather the very last of his strength and claw out Nefas's right eye as he was bent over him, he was then swiftly finished off by the blinded and angry naga, his last thoughts being satisfaction for his final act, and his last wish that his last child would get away one day and life his life in freedom.

Fortitude happened to hatched and breathe in his first breath of life, even as his father breathed his last.

Anyway that's it for all, I'm feeling oddly good right now so I thought I'd take that chance to post some things up. Thank you to everyone who's been so understanding the last few days, you all helped me feel better no end.
