Thank you so much for the faves!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!About the technique...
I used mechanical pencil 0.3 (for all hair and some details) and 4B and 6B pencils (for the face).
When I finished all the shading, I manipulated and added the red color in photoshop using a brush (that also helped me a lot)!

The knot-like hair structure is just awesome (I can only imagine how many hours it took you to draw all of this!) and excelent 3D shadding of the face.
Adding the red color was a good idea - it made the picture more lively. Also, it gived the hair an ilumination effect and because the wisps are so graphic, it looks almost like a stained-glass.
