Finished 25th of August, 2016.FINALLY, IT'S DONE!
This took ages, and is one of the reasons I was slow with uploading any other artwork. This, alongside another personal project. Still, I think I'm most proud of this piece. I spent so much time in it, and tried to fix any mistakes along the way I made. I even have a before-and-after picture of the leg that is kicking in the air (which I'll put in scraps). I fixed that, and that took a while!
Solus is practising her combat -martial arts- on a deserted, alien planet.
Edit: I change the kicking-foot and the tail and added a blur to it to make it look like those parts are moving. (Does this make sense?) So basically to make it look more dynamic the kicking-foot in the air, and the swooping tail both have been blurred a bit.

The sky and clouds is partially from me painting it, but the base ground layer is of a photograph I once took of the sky while visiting MrRazot. The sky looked so beautiful. I decided to use it for this picture, change it a bit, adjusting the colours too, and ta-daaah~ o3o
That pose... it all started with that pose. Originally I was just practising poses, and a new drawing technique I wanted to try out. And it all turned into this

I implemented a photograph for the sky, and did quite a couple of edits, so yeah

Just mess around with the photo in the program, and see what wonders you can make! xD
