Description I'm posting a lot lately, sorry. Just so happens that I've recently gotten a lot of rolls processed, and I've generally been photographing more due to holidays.
This is from back in November, but I only got the roll back a week or so ago because the lab told me they lost it. I had actually given up on this film, and the photo place compensated me with two free rolls of Fuji Velvia 50. Then about a month later (i.e a week or so ago) I got a call - apparently the film had gone to some random place that took ages to process it. So not only did I get free film out of all this, but they gave me my negs & prints free of charge

Anyway - this is Fruzsi (~peachpatrol ) on a 40 degree (celsius) day in town (first shot on the roll).
Nikon FM2 + Fuji Velvia 50 ISO cross-processed, scan from print

Please FULL-VIEW - you can actually see her face.

velvia doesn't like hard light so much.. i don't know why.. but it's VERY contrasty in the hard summer sun.. i tried it in south africa..
beautiful photo though!

yeah i was surprised at how bright & contrasty all my shots came out considering it's 50 iso. but i'm happy with the results. i wanna try 120 velvia cross-processed, i've seen so much of it on DA and the colours turn out so lovely and red!
and thank youuu

yeahh cross processed is gorgeous on velvia!
if i save up enough, i am pretty sure i am coming to womad!
it's $80 for the flight, $180 for festival plus $150 (or more) spending money.. i am getting a little excited.

!!!!!!!

AWESOME!
I think you should buy your ticket before you come here, before the actual festival - because a) they miiiight sell out (not very likely but you don't wanna risk it) and b) they're pricier at the door ($185 is the price for 3 day pass if you buy it before the actual festival day) - do you think you could get it beforehand? this is the site, pretty sure you can buy from there: [link]

this is very very exciting

yeah i am planning on doing that cause it will just be easier to have paid. and yeah i'd do the 3 day pass.
it is indeed exciting! the only setback is if i earn enough money to come!
