Once upon a time. A quiet dusk awaits, patiently, for the boy.He comes, to wash, to this dark beautiful grove. By the pond.
To wash.
I wonder. I wonder what he cleanses himself from.
Such a beautiful face. Such sadness.
I wonder. I wonder if one night he won't return.
Washed away completely by unnamed things within the depth.
I wonder. I wonder if I can resist following. His silent steps.
All the way to the Abyss.

All the way into the abyss - for such a beautiful child the way into doom mostly begins with his flourishing beauty which can be such an inbearable burden...
So there may be many reasons to wash away the sweat, the smell and the shame to clean the childΒ΄s pure soul.
DonΒ΄t wonder! You cannot stop the child now. You can only try to stop another child much earlier... before, before...

It's (most of) a verse of a song called To Another Abyss by a band called Bad Religion
it is, despite what the band name may imply, rather pretty

the skin tones are so good, uv really mastered the digital looking traditional technique. Its the textured brush uve used that gives tht stipply look, magic.

It is impossible to stop following. The trees all around tell you to continue walking forward and you are possessed.
All the Way to the Abyss makes me feel sleepy in an uneasy way. The background and center images blend together beautifully.
