Nah. That was just the animators feeling like there needs to be some kind of pairing by the end of the series.
And he never states that he likes Hawkeye, anyway. It's pretty damned obvious that she has a thing for him, but I think that anyone trying to claim that Roy's straight obviously has never met a straight person... or has no knowledge of the existence of gay people. O_o; You can't get much gayer than him.
