Description Katniss and Gale in a scene from 'Catching Fire' from the Hunger Games trilogy by Suzanne Collins. Sketch and 99 percent of the coloring are from late spring. I drew this one after [link] but before [link] . And I've used this photo [link] partially as reference and inspiration. This is also why the characters look a little different from my current version. Yesterday, I've thought of the drawing again that's why I decided to finish and submit it.

Honestly, I absolutely adore this drawing, one of my favorites of yours, the emotion is portrayed so wonderful, and Katniss looks just how I imagines her. I love the worn look your gave the painting as well, very neat ^^

Aww, this is beautiful!!! And I am a Katniss/Peeta shipper! haha But this is really lovely, I really like the tones and colors, and just the overall tangibility that the emotion has in the piece!

Thank you very much! Btw I prefer Katniss/Peeta, too. But when I read the books my support switched from Peeta to Gale to Peeta to Gale and finally back to Peeta. It was a hard choice from time to time but the end of Mockingjay made it easy for me.

LOL!!! Yeah, what with everything that went down - especially in the last book, it's definitely understandable and easy to do! haha
Yeah, they were right for each other - and they deserved to be happy together after all they had to go through, I just wish the ending had been a bit...longer. Maybe explained exactly how/why they got fell back in love, etc.
I'm glad they ended up together though!

Yes, the ending was really a little too short. But I'm happy that it was Peeta in the end, too.
