So, still wanting to do a contemporary Oz story, which Ryan may help me develop in the near future. Anyway these are the Yellow Winkies from the original Wizard of Oz story. I originally thought that name was too corny and thought what else could I call them?

Well, after thinking about it here is what I came up with: The Winkies are small, between 3'-4'. They are numerous and attack in huge hordes. Their bites are venomous and can lead to death if not treated right away. The term 'Winkies' came about because they have a nervous tick, which causes them to 'wink' frequently.

So I actually like the 'Winkie' name now, because of the irony; cute little name associated with a deadly and somewhat vile creature.
