Description
These enormous seabirds are the animal of the month in the Wildlife--Awareness group! They are, happily, fairly plentiful within various parts of their range, though fishing practices pose a serious risk (both competition for food and mortality as by-catch, etc.). They have one chick at a time in very sculpted mud nests, and nest together in huge colonies.

I'm really missing ink drawing and this seemed like a perfect opportunity (white bird with black markings - it begs for ink!), but for some reason I decided to go for sunset colors...

Materials: Prismacolor colored pencils on pink cardstock, 8x10 inches.
