Strangely, it has quite the different effect on me than the sketch. Jon's mouth seems a bit different now. And the grittiness that suits anything GoT is gone. I think it would be worth it to have both versions uploaded, since they both have their upsides.

Hmmm... well I used this:Β img1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20β¦ as reference and the initial sketch was really crude and inaccurate. When it comes to faces I roughly draw out the shape first and I paint the details in more like I'm sculpting than drawing. The lack of grittiness is probably due to me using a really dark purple rather than black itself. Makes it all colory and poppy instead. Ah well. I don't mind uploading the black and white one though! I might touch it up a bit first though. The right eye in the old one is really off.
