[VE] || Kiviuq || ToY 2The concept of a "coming of age day" was kind of odd in these modern times, wasn't it?
While such views may differ greatly between peoples, Kiviuq found himself wondering just this thing as he stood before a bonfire, Vespers donning various items of ceremony splayed before him. Some sang, some danced, and some merely sat idly by, enjoying the warmth of the fire as well as a drink of some fermented liquid or another. It was a familiar sight, really. As the winter solstice came to them they would celebrate the adulthood of the young Vespers in their pack. With the ceremony at hand, those branded adults were permitted to begin courting - or being courted - and partaking in spirits, hunts, prayer, and many more rights that were not yet granted to them. By the time this night was over, they would finally be truly able to express themselves as members of the pack.
