As the one who commissioned this image, he is definitely entitled to reap the surge of attention and boost in traffic. I'm absolutely ecstatic to have helped him get such recognition. Honestly, if Daily Deviaitons were handed out to works I did the color on, I would always prefer the line artist or the commissioner (or in this case, both) to receive it instead of me. I've already got a few, and since they paid for it, they're the ones who should get the benefits that come with a DD as well. I thank all of those who commented on it, I cherish all your compliments and observations, and appreciate your understanding towards my feelings over them getting the award. Thanks.

The final piece of last week's commissions! This would be the crown jewel of the rest, as I had a heck of a great time pulling this one together. Really got to just lash out at it, hit every detail, and Iron Man. Oh my word, Iron Man!

I don't even have an Iron Man in my collection! So many icons right here that I've not touched at all, so having this one in my portfolio is certainly something I'm proud of.

This is pretty damn awesome.

I only have two gripes though,

  • Hulk looks kinda funny... I can't really explain it
  • Black Widow's spine doesn't work like that, though it's not quite as bad as in many mainstream comics

    Captain America is kind of the most stupid hero ever... He has the most powerfull shield in the universe which can practically stop anything, and he trows it away every time as a weapon...

    What would happen if a bad guy would be to catch the shield and use it himself?

    Well, for one, Comic Book... Your average thug is no smarter than a stormtrooper, and about as accurate with a gun... Two, most people who fight Cap aren't privy to the fact that he throws the thing. And it's also hard to catch. Made of Vibranium... And if they do take the time to catch it, Cap'll be upon them before they can do anything else. The best idea when fighting Cap is to duck the shield, and stay ducked... And he's used that sheild so much, he knows exactly how to counter someone trying to use it... He's taken it back from Zemo many times... And Zemo has a sword with him as well...

    Okay... But what if the enemy which was cappable of catching it without trouble just decided to take the shield and throw it somewhere unreachable? Like into a pit of magma or acid?

    Well, it's been proven that it can't melt. The only thing to successfully destroy his shield, also repaired it, was the OdinForce. The power that created reality. As for it being out of Cap's hands... He doesn't rely on that thing only. It's just his weapon of choice.

    I'm not saying that he's a weak superhero, I'm just saying that he should stop and think for a moment that it is possible that an enemy could do things to his recently thrown weapon.

    If it's in lava, he won't be able to retrieve it. Not that it'll be going anywhere. Eventually, he'd get Tony or Thor to help him get it back. And actually, looking at everything, Captain America is one of THE weakest superheros, DC and MARVEL, combined... And yes, he shouldn't throw the darn thing all the time, but what else can he do when they won't let him get close enough to punch? He could shoot them, yes, as he still carries his pistol, but...

    I suppose the heroes need a lesson in "How not to kill a man, but at least knock him out propperly."

    And why doesn't cap just fill the gun with rubber bullets? Or replace the entire thing with a gun which stuns opponents? I mean, all he needs to do is ask someone like Nick Fury or Tony, they could help him out.

    But no, instead he'll just keep the forever holstered gun as an accessory...

    Actually, the 'stated' reason he doesn't use it is because it was given to him by Jack Fury, and it had only one bullet left in it, and it was to be saved for the Red Skull.

    No, Tony is pretty much the one that caused it. It was during Civil War. And the one that paid Bullseye to kill him was, I believe, the Red Skull.
