Well, she's certainly taken by surprise. But the end of the lance is very near from her right hand. She could quickly catch It beyond the red area of the tip, strip the man up with her long legs, or stand up to take the wheapon from him. She would have the upper hand in no time. After all, isn't she the jungle girl for a reason ? !
Nevertheless, she looks defeated. I guess, unfortunately, the next picture would show her standing up, presented her joined hands, clenching fists, and the little man, freed of his lance and over-confident, would quietly tie her wrists together. Next picture, he would bring her to the village, dragging her with the rope.
