I kind of agree with Lougojira on the impression of passivity given by the jungle girl. I even feel like if the situation would repeat one day, the chief's daughter could go to slap her at this point ! And I would imagine that out of respect for the chief, the jungle girl woul'nt slap her back. And that wouldn't change her mind about the following of the plot. 'Cause, well, she's classy that way ! Hoping (of course)Vesubio79dc would agree on that, I think It would increase the selfness/helpness side of her character. When she barters the tigress for the "lamb", for the greater good. Am I right ?

Maybye the beef is indeed about the necklace. The chief's daughter would like the jungle girl to leave It behind, like her knife, as a sign of good will for the evil tribe when she'll be presented tied up on the zebra to them. And the jungle girl explains to her that even if she has to die a martyre, that necklace is part of her identity, and that she wants to die with It. Her gesture is big enough to spare her at least from showing herself to the evil tribe without that symbol of her power, her legendary trophy !
I think the jungle girl is telling her : "Please, let me at least keep my necklace! I agree to all your our their other conditions, but I'd feel totally devoid if I couldn't stand in front of our common ennemy without It. I'm begging you now, because when you'll have tied my up, you'll be able to take It from me. Please a little respect for what I'm doing for your people, and don't let them get a full triomph when you'll deliver me to them !"

Looks to me like the young warrior woman has something to prove. Jungle Girl strikes me as being passive for the most part, but if you back her into a corner she'd fight back like a bobcat!
