The chief's daughter does'nt seem extremely nervous. Her look is very serine, as she rides to liberate the children (if I'm right about the situation), but also to drag the jungle girl to a terrific fate ! It's like she does'nt even feel for her. Maybye she even feels somehow exited to be the person who's about to be able to say to the savage tribe : "Ladies and gentlemen, I give you, the pretty, the beauty, the only (and henceforce lonely ! )... Drumming... Jungle queen !
In the mean time, look at JG's hands and wrists... Worried as her eyes seems, It's obvious that the heroine doesn't struggle one bit, or even try to loosen the ropes at all. Her hands are completely loose, for God's sake ! ! What harm would It be to the hostages or to her, if she tried to untight un little bit these ropes before the exchange. At worst, bad guys would see It's not tight enough and she'd agree to take care of It, for children to be saved. She'd say : "O.K, my bad. Tie me up again, I won't move a muscle. The point is : I'm yours, set the children free, then... Well, I'm yours.". Once the children safe, if she's tied up too tight, It will be to late for any plan B. It's like she's sure the children will be released, and also, that there's no point hoping anything for herself. The fact she stays so calm in her resignation, makes her very classy. In a dramatic (and sweaty) way.
