Nova Pistols
The Pyro Empire has a selection of Pistols, the most common of these is the Nova Pistols and their many variants. Highly common among the Pyro Military it is the standard sidearm. Operating in a similar function to the larger Nova Rifles. Although the weapon loads and fires a solid slug projectile (a crystal like bullet made of nova Crystals found in mass quantities in nebulas), it has a built in Nova charged system that ignites the round and sends it on its way at the same time coating the bullet with an energy field giving fairly good armour piecing properties, all this could be nullified when used against targets with energy shields as the energy coated bullet would impact the shield and stop dead. They easy to construct, tough and reliable weapons, and like the Rifles, there are many variants.

Photon Pistol
Photon Pistols is a common dedicated Anti-armour Pistol utilized by the Pyros, and has served well for billions of years. Unlike the Angels' version, the Pyros is slightly less advanced, but still well built, tough and reliable.

Good against: Super Heavy Infantry, Light Vehicles, Medium Vehicles, Heavy Vehicles, Super heavy Vehicles
Bad against: Light Infantry, Medium Infantry, Heavy Infantry (Note the weapon can still kill Infantry but is often not recommended due to slow rate of fire)

Molten Pistol
A powerful weapon developed from the larger Molten Rifle, a type of Fusion weapon capable of serious damage to heavy armour and buildings. They are ancient and difficult weapons of the Eternal Wars, but are lethal anti-armour weapons, if the range is somewhat short. A heavy weapon as it contains a miniature nuclear power source, that can be unleashed in a narrow and focussed beam of atomic energy to melt and burn through heavy armour and bunker walls.

Good Against: Light Infantry, Medium Infantry, Heavy Infantry, Super heavy Infantry, Light Vehicles, Medium Vehicles, Heavy Vehicles, Super heavy Vehicles,
Bad against: Massed numbers due to low rate of fire.

Grenade Pistol
A Pistol version of a Grenade launcher, it is a rare weapon of the Pyro Empire, while being quite a novity one. Developed from the civilian flare gun used for launching signal flares during the early centuries of the Pyro re-occupation of their home world after the 3rd Eternal Wars and during the Dark Ages. A single shot weapon, but can be reloaded very quickly, it is a short ranged launcher, used in close quarters. Especially during ship boarding actions and urban environment.
