The only child of her father’s first bonding, Yang is a proud and courageous person. Eager to serve and all up for taking the fight to the enemy with considerable enthusiasm. She joined the Patch’s Scout Company at the age of 17, before eventually becoming old enough to join the Hoplite ranks at the age of 20. She was only a Hoplite for barely a year, before being engaged on the frontline with the Scutari Empire just south of the infamous and hotly contested Serpent Sector Warzone.

Her Regiment was engaged in a prolonged siege of a Scutari fortress on the mining moon of Uterax VIII, before losing an arm to a Temple Guard of the Scutari Empire. Fully recovered, thanks to the intervention of Lady Schnee, Yang obtained a rare and expensive cyber arm, to replace the one lost. She was left out of action for a number of years, before returning to the armed forces after her 27th Birthday. Here, she serves with Schnee’s 462nd Army, which is currently being dispatched to reserve position near the Serpent Sector, waiting for their deployment. However, they were called to nearby sectors, to engage either Scutari probing attacks or Imperial raids. But staying close to Remnant Galaxy, ready to return home, should the Scutari or the Disciples of Babylon make a brazen raid towards it.

During the waiting, Xiao Long, is joined by her younger half-sister as well as a number of miss-fits of fellow native Hoplites and Spartans from her home Galaxy of Remnant.

Off duty, she is a playful and hot-headed, with a sense of humour that borders along the lines of terrible puns and jokes. Although she is quick to temper and can be fiercely protective of her younger half-sister, she has been reported to assault anyone who touches her long hair, the Quartermaster Barbers are considered to be her worst enemies and wouldn’t hesitate in beating the proverbial shit out of them for even touching a single strange her plumage. She has been known to mock her superior officers when the opportunity arises, she even takes a jibe at those with centuries more experience than she does. Her aggression makes her perfect as a Hawk Hoplite, but recently she has wondered from her designated squad to be with a who group of mis-matching Hoplites from various units. Most are friends.

Despite getting on her CO’s shit-list, she is proven to be a competent combatant, with the enthusiastic energy to match. While notably fearless, she is weary of getting into melee with elite units, and will give much respect to the Scutari Temple Guard, despite having a very low opinion on the Scutari military as a whole.
