It wasn't a remake that was announced, it was a movie, coming this 2018. I can't wait for it! Hopefully afterwards it'll get enough money and attention to continue the show! Jhonen Vasquez has plenty of ideas from his Invader Zim comics, unless he wants to create something a little more "fresh".

Same!! Not many people I know know of Invader Zim, it's so sad! It was such a big hit on nick! It was one of the biggest things in my childhood. And it's a shame that the fandom has died down. Hopefully it's all just dormant for the moment, maybe the movie will bring some life into it.
