im trying to work on those leg muscle techniques..its very tricky. Recently been playing a fair bit of saints row though, and if I could just get the camera to take screenshots of her legs, I reckon I'd be sweet, thats got some excellent character modelling in it.

Saints Row is an amazingly zaney take on the GTA series, have you seen Saints Row: The Third ? They just keep amping up the insanity and giving players what they yearn for in most sandbox games. It is interesting to hear you are using their character models as a reference to how you work your own art style for your own characters

Of course I also adore the baddie KILLBANE

Thats the one I've got. I made a kinda of Araish character, she spends most of her time walking the streets beating the living piss out of anyone who gets in her way lol.
Personally I dont really like many of the characters, Oleg and Angel are pretty cool though. The whole gangsta crap never sat well with me lol. Nice selection of metal tracks though

So you managed to almost make Ara perfectly on it? That's pretty cool.

I remember when I first played the original Saints Row I made a rather funky faced looking fella. Had lot of fun just making his nose look crooked and thin, flatop white hair and gray mustache. He looked like a handicapped or Down-Syndrome effected version of that Metal Gear 4 main protaginist, Snake, in his elderly years... complete with shades . Was hilariously odd.

And same here, not much for gangland type stuff. Mainly into a game like that for the childish fun it presents, just a nice escape from a long day. As could be said for most vid-games

I'll post up a few screen shots I've taken. I've not made Ara perfectly per say, but I have pulled a lot of reference from saints row chacaracter models lol. All I can really say shes missing is the Heterochromia and the teardrop moles on her face, you can only get one

My other characters pretty gnarly too, huge british dude with zombie facepaint, his body makes for a good reference for zero though, so thats very useful.

No doubt hard to make any one of our OC creations 100% perfect in a Saints Row character-creator system. Heck, even in those more variety packed wrestling game create-a-superstar modes, even with their more huge archive of pieces, settings, and parts to make your fighter... Not always able to make a perfect lookalike for your character. But is still impressive you managed to almost perfectly make Ara on this game.
