A Lava Dome Pokemon, Heatran lives deep within volcanic caves, serving as a Fierce Guardian. Boiling blood circulates throughout its body like magma, and because of its intense body heat, some parts of its body are melted slightly out of shape. Heatran uses the power of the Magma Stone to keep its power in check. Without it, it will rampage and cause the volcanic crater it inhabits to erupt. Heatran is the only Pokemon that can learn the move Magma Storm.
