A powerful, high-ranking demon in Inferno who mans the Gates of Hell bar that Bayonetta frequents. Once a weaponsmith for Paradiso, Rodin was banished, and now harvests the souls of the damned for independent use. He gets along well with his patrons, especially Bayonetta. In fact, he's the one who gave her the name she now goes by, and even created her guns. Rodin makes weapons for Bayonetta to use throughout her adventures in exchange for halos, and limits the use of his powers, but should Bayonetta challenge him, he just might show his true colors.

Rodin appears in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as an Assist Trophy, fighting with his own variation of Wicked Weaves and After-Burner Kick. Upon his departure, he'll leave behind an item for players to use.
