Description
This was a commission for a customer.They didnt know how to paint or put this together so I offered to do it for them.
This would be my 2nd build of the figure. I really enjoyed working on this one as I learned a lot from all the flaws it had and how to fix them.

@BlackHoleInAJar It uses ball joints. They are something like Revoltech but they dont click. The joint are made by "Hobby Base" and you can get them from hlj.com

@Gneiss-chert this was a kit I put together and painted it. There is no modification, unlike the one I did after this one. Thanks for the link. Your Ridley is way to awesome for words!! I do also recommend you add joints to him so he is possible. You can use ball joint like the ones I used in this kit. They also have larger sized joints. As for sites/books sorry no, I do not use any. Every thing I do is from trial and error as I learn on my own. But if you need help with anything I am willing to help you. Well the only thing I did research is scratch building Gundam pieces using Pla plate. I looked up youtube videos.

Thanks for the advise! I'll have to experiment with that. Ridley will have to be recrafted to have joints, but I'll have a great modle to study from.

Gorgeous! I'd be worried that the shoulders might be obtrusive and prevent poseability, but it looks pretty good!

WoW great work! I would love to learn how to make action figures! Right now my sculpt of omega ridley ([link] ) is stuck in place, so many people tell me how awesome it would be if he could be poseable. Any good books or sites you can recommend?
You do learn a lot doing the same sculpt over! I know I would!
