I would say that this particular blue is the perfect accent for her hair colour. It really makes her stand out even more as the focal point of the photo. Aside from that, I would love to have a bed like the one she's on right now.

Just keep a look out all the time , you never know.
This location fell into my lap. It was actually the model that found this amature photog. He wanted to use her for some portfolio work in this mansion in my neighborhood and she insisted that she brings me along to style, but then talked the guy into letting me shoot there.
Always be on the scout, you never know what's in your neighborhood. Places are decieving from the outside.

Thank you! I have noticed that my "eye" is attuned to more and more places lately. That old tunnel I walk to work, an alley, everything is a potential shoot location I suppose. Great photo.

All right, I saw this shot after I commented on the earlier piece.
This image illustrates much of what I was intending in my comments. The blue fabric has become a "character" in the shot. The simplicity of the gown keeps the frame from getting muddled by contrasting with the complexity of the pattern on the bedspread.
Very nice composition. I would simply crop the entire frame by 10% on all sides to bring the model a bit forward in the picture.
