I was tempted to draw Daisy, because more than one person actually asked for her, but I thought I'd go with the Mario girl I wasn't as familiar with. I think the first time I saw Pauline was when I caught a short glimpse of her in a Mario vs Donkey Kong game? It involved mini robot Marios and I remember not liking the game very much. However, when I saw her Super Mario design, I thought it was really neat! I don't really play Mario games, I was more of a Kirby kid growing up. I really wanted to draw Pauline in her suit, but in all the pictures I searched up, she didn't seem to sing in her suit so I decided to go with the dress, since that seems to be her official singing attire. That's when I thought "How the heck do I draw the glitter in marker?" And then after the fact I remembered that I bought real glitter for class this semester and just slapped it on to match. After I put glitter on her illustration, I just had to add glitter to all of them xD! ( It's also currently all over my carpet;; )

The pose is a reference to an old drawing of Miku I did a few years ago. I wanted to study a real mic this time around. I ended up making her arm a little too thick, though.

For her name card, I just though she'd have really elegant handwriting. I don't have the best handwriting myself, so I thought that maybe a fancy "P" would do just fine.
