He accessed the backdoor, feeling a rising adrenaline rush. He had been alone for a long time, ever since he became a hacker in the rainforest. He didn't know if anyone still hired him, or if there was still someone who feared him. The only thing that kept him hooked was the mystery surrounding the backdoor.

What would that be? What secrets would it open? He was determined to find out, even if it was the last thing he did. But to do so, he needed to get into the backdoor, using the neural implant he had modified. It was a clandestine structure, full of codes and viruses, which seemed to give access to a secret network. He didn't know what he would find in the backdoor, but he was ready to break into the system.
