She connected to the uplink, feeling a wave of data invade her mind. She had been alone for weeks, ever since she accepted the mission to infiltrate the enemy base. She didn't know if anyone still remembered her, or if there was anyone still on her side.

The only thing keeping her focused was her goal of hacking the giant antenna that dominated the rainforest. It was an imposing structure, full of cables and sensors, which transmitted and received signals from all over the world. What would that be? What secrets would it hide? She was determined to find out, even if it was the last thing she did.
