More sketches in Medibang!

Here in this sheet, I wasnt so concerned in drawing dynamic poses but more in trying to draw fleshed out characters over my mannequins. I have a bad habit of not finishing my drawings, so I was trying to force myself to have actual fleshed out characters when sketching instead of loosen figure drawings. Im so used to draw things so losely that whenever I need to draw something more tighten up, I lose stamina.

This is a raw sheet, so there are some cool attempts and bad attempts, but I personally like it a lot how it got. Sketching with white blockouts has been quite relaxing, so I actually didnt mind taking my time to draw tighter sketches.

I once bought a video tutorial of Robot Pencil (Anthony Jones) in which he explains that most reasons why beginner artists cant finish their illustrations rely on their bad sketching techniques more than in their final rendering techniques. And now that I have been trying out different ways of sketching, I totally get what he means.

Tbh, when I was just a hobbyist, I didnt give so much thought on a lot of things I was probably doing wrong, but now that I want to be a full-time artist, Im finally realizing I really need to get my shit together. lol
