[Laura walks up the front steps of Kylee's house and knocks on the front door. She's surprised to find that the door is slightly ajar, and out of curiosity, she pushes it open.]
Kylee...? Is anyone ho-
[Laura stops mid sentence when she sees the house is in shambles and Kylee's lay on the floor near the steps, a bloody mess. Laura gasps and runs in, rushing over to Kylee's side. She kneels down next to her, careful not to move her until she knows that moving her won't do any further damage. Laura can see that she's still breathing, but it's clear that's she having trouble doing so.]
Kylee! Oh my God Kylee, what happened?!

Kylee tries her best to catch her breath and stands up, but all she can do is sit on the floor, breathing heavily. "L-Laura..."

[Laura eases Kylee back onto the floor so she's laying on her back.]
Kylee, don't move, you're hurt really badly...try and relax, OK?

She struggles to breath as she grips the carpet, her eyes shut tight.

[Laura stares at Kylee's body, not sure of what she should do first. She knows she did the right thing in making her lay down, knowing that if her ribcage was hurt, sitting up would put more of a strain on it. She decided the best thing to do is to try to find out what happened. She speaks in a low and strangely calm voice.]
Kylee, I want you tell me what happened using as little words as possible.

[As Laura's saying this, she examines Kylee's body. She notices that there's a lot of blood soaked into her shirt, just above her stomach. She gently pulls up Kylee's shirt to get a better look.]

She grips the carpet hard and shuts her eyes tight, wincing in pain.

[Laura's eyes widen when she sees Kylee's stomach. It looks as though Kylee had been stabbed, or something similar to that. She carefully lowers Kylee's shirt back down, making sure to not cause anymore pain.]

"Laura, it hurts!" She moans, her eyes still shut tight.

I-I know, just, hold on, OK?
[Laura pulls out her phone and dials 911. She calmly explains the situation and once she hangs up, she takes one of Kylee's hands and squeezes it gently.]
You're gonna be fine, an ambulance is on the way, and the police are gonna come and investigate. Maybe they'll be able to catch whoever did this.

[Laura sits back on her heels, thinking about what she could do. Since she called an ambulance, Kylee's gonna have to go to the hospital, whether she wants to or not. She sighs and looks back over a Kylee.]
Well, there's nothing I really can do...would you be more willing to go if I came with you?

Why? The doctors and nurses are nice, and it's not like you see anything really graphic that often...
