you know, considering I'm named after her, you'd think I'd post more art of her.
Anyway, draft of Ivy. I demand constructive crit for I want this to be the best Ivy art I've ever put out, until I make another one that's just as great.
...but no comments on the whip part of her sword, because you're supposed to pretend that it's sketched out.

You really captured the action of her motion in her body, which is a lot of people tend to miss, but her expression doesn't seem to come through to me. I know Ivy tends to be a bit emotionless when she fights, (I found out the hard way, my sister kicked my ass with her ^^' ) but I think the peice would be a lot deeper with a tad more expression. Anatomy looks great too!

That's a good pose. It would be nice to see this colored in. As for the crit, Ivy doesn't have the jewel on her right hand in the second Soul Calibur.

What an awesome pose. I really see nothing to give any constructive critique on, seeing as you're a hundred times better than I am. The anatomy is hell, perfect! I really don't know what else to say, other than this is excellent, and I can't wait to see the finished version.

I'm already a massive fan of your work and you've never failed to make beautiful fanarts of my favourite characters. I'm always impressed by your Kazuya work and now Ivy?! I cannot WAIT to see this coloured. The pose is just wonderful, it looks like namco concept work. Her face portrays a beautiful innocence which contrasts with the whip action pose. Very dynamic. I just love it.
Looking through the comments, it seems everythings been covered so all I can say is good luck with the colouring.

You know - there's something about this sketch that makes her look younger.. And more hot than in SC2 IMO. Probably the face, I like it!

Before I tear into this, I'm going to let you know I think that, anatomy wise, this is one of the best drawings I've ever seen you do. Her facial expression is also pricesless and the way she's built is perfect for the dominatrix she SHOULD be portayed as. The sketsh is almost perfect to be inked or colored.
The only thing wrong to me is the hilt of the sword is angled in almost the exact opposite direction it should be for how her grip on the hilt is. If nothing else, the hilt should be parallel to the viewer - we shouldn't get as much of a bottom angle on the crosspiece, if any at all. We probably should be getting more of the top than anything, though.

Oh my gosh, this is stunning. The movement is incredible, and the anatomy is ridiculously solid.
I'm going to get super nitpicky here, because it's the only crit I can really offer, and because I'm learning how to be an art school snob. 
The line from her right shoulder down to her ribcage should curve a little bit more, in and then out, where the scapula meets up with the ribcage. It'd be very subtle because you can't see much of the scapula from that angle, but it would add the last bit of solid form that would complete this pic.
Also, on the outer edge of her left thigh, there would be a VERY subtle curve in and then curve out again as the line travels from the hip to the knee. I have no doubt, from the shading, that you intend to do this in the colouring, but a tiny curve in the linework as well would double the effect.
Told you it was nitpicky!
I can't get over her facial expression. So intense. "Mess with me; I DARE you." The line of action is incredible, too, as is the composition. Gorgeous use of negative space. There is no doubt that this will be your best Ivy evar! once it is finished.

Anyway, I reallllly appreciate the crit you gave here (can I take you home with me? :3). Grain of salt or no, every little bit of crit is useful to me, and considering that I definitely want to improve my anatomy, it helps. I'll defintely do what I can to work on that shoulder area, and I'll keep your comments on the thigh in mind for future ref (even if it's been decidedly nixed--still! Never know when it'll come in handy).

Dungeon Mistress Ivy Valentine! The sword looks more like a whip, which is okay though the blades would have made a much better touch. Keep working on this one, girl, it has potential. But I like it anyways and added it to my favorites.

That is gonna be one damn-fine Ivy... the anatomy is amazingly spot-on. Like the others have said, I see no problem: I just love that fluid motion. When this is finished, she'll have to battle DJ over who will be your masterpiece.

Actually she's the best WOMAN you've ever drawn, since the anatomy is so perfect. She just LOOKS so real, and perfectly Ivy - cuuuuurvy. Every iota of detail looks practically perfect to me, you've executed the job perfectly.
Though the hand holding the sword annoys me a little, like a few others have commented. To me it just seems sliiightly off in angle, though it may just be because her wrist joints are hidden, hence the angle of the hand looks slightly off as a result. Though frankly I wouldn't even have tried this pose hand-wise, since it's bloody hard to get right and you're almost spot-on. I wouldn't even know how to fix this one. 
Can't wait to see this finished, I have a feeling I'll be demanding a print.

First off, the anatomy is AWSOME. She's actually built like a girl who could kick your ass yet is hot at the same time. She's not this thin WAIF that you're exspected to believe can kick ass. Also, I like the face. She looks almost baby-dollish and pouty.

I love this pic. The anatomy is nice and pose is perfect. I know this sounds stupid, but I love how you did her hips, they look very well done. I have to agree with Titanix-Avalon though, I think the hand should be a little lower than what it is now because it doesn't look like it's connected all that well to the arm. Other than that, I think it's great. Good job!

The hand holding the sword looks a little odd, since it looks like the sword is moving away from the viewer, while the hand is holding it like it should be coming toward the viewer. Other than that, I see nothing you need help on.
