"Eating crow"? Heh, what does that mean? Is it a term? (Just curious.)
People also say that when their art is clearly leaning to a more erotic category than just nude.
(Because I totally don't understand that a photo of a vag with a piercing is clearly something more than a photo of a vag with a piercing! /Rant over)

And again. It's about people who, when they post bad art that also happens to be erotic, will say that you have a problem with erotic art if you try to critique the quality (or lack their of) of their art.
People need to learn NOT to hide behind the "Oh you think nude/erotic art isn't art, you're offended!" when you make a critique to the quality that has nothing to do with the content.

Ha ha, I'm 'gonna have to use the expression from now on!
(Then again, I guess there already is one used more frequently, "eating humble pie", BUT WHATEVER.)
Yeah, people seem to hate when their wonky anatomy (something deemed "bad", of course) is pointed out and find any excuse to justify being mad.
I mean, if it was a picture done for fun and they didn't ask for critique in the first place, then, yeah, I'd understand. But it usually seems like it's the people who actually ask for critique, then didn't expect someone to be a little more "harsh" than they expected.
Exactly, I agree completely.
I guess it boils down to this:
If you asked for critiques, expect critiques!

I mean, to people who think random low quality pics of their privates is art.
Basically, This is DeviantArt, not DeviantTits.

Well, my point was this. I am a strong supporter of nude and erotic art being recognized as art. Being of a nude person or being sexual doesn't make something not-art. That's stupid. And frankly your "It's deviantart not defianttits" is coming off as quite judgmental and childish.
However, I'm also annoyed at people who take pictures of nudity and think that every one who doesn't like the photograph MUST not like it because they have a problem with nudity.
Basically, what it means is, not everyone who thinks a nude photograph is bad thinks so because they have a problem with nude and erotic photography.
I love nude and erotic photography, but that doesn't mean I have to think every random crotch shot is good. And I don't like being told I DON'T love nude and erotic photography becuase I know the difference between nude and erotic photography and a camwhore.

My opinion of nudity is this: just as long as it isn't for pornographic reasons, it's good. I've drawn one of my character's ass to simply learn how to draw her from behind and to consistiently draw her, despite the fact that I don't know too much anatomy. is that good?

Oh I think that the only way to learn to draw people is to learn what's under their clothes and study the body. I also don't think there's anything wrong with the human body, that it's dirty or shameful or anything.
This stamp is mostly about girls on DA taking pictures of their breasts to get attention.

You are right, there's nothing wrong with the human body, just the context that it is portrayed.
Who the hell would show their boobs in an ART site? If you're gonna do that, do it on Myspace...

There's nothing wrong with nude photography and photographing boobs. But still, there are a lot of people who just do it to get attention and people drooling over them, and think it makes them great photographers or something. And if you call them on their crap, what do you get? A bunch of "Well YOU'RE just closed-minded and think nude photography isn't art!" Which is stupid... hence the stamp.

I've dubbed this kind of reaction "The Chicken Boo effect". All the other comments on the page are nothing but ass kissing, 'sexy' 'great art' 'perfect tits' comments and then you come along and give a perfectly reasonable comment that is not negative but simply your opinion and suddenly you're the crazy person. Don't let it get to you - you can see the giant chicken is all.

It's just funny... it's like, OK, I'm close minded for NOT judging art by whether or not it's boner enduing.
Fan-fucking-tastic.

Thank you.
I can understand artistic nude and pin up, and do like some of it. However it doesn't mean that the art can not be crappily done.

No probs. I find it quite amusing when people seem to think 'oh because this is nude it can't be badly done or trashy, cause it's nude it's actually really deep and meaningful ect.'

Or the "more open-minded than thou" or the "more more 'edgy' then thou" attitude people put on.
I can tell the difference between beautiful erotic photography and a camwhore. Guess that means I'm somehow ignorant to the fact that the nude can be art too.
What the hell?
