Good 3d, and nice minimal 2d too, it doesn't overpower the rest of the piece. I also quite like the way this isn't too 'in your face' like many 3d abstract pieces.

very cool vid i like everything cept the skirts of the render they tend to be very scratchy which dont work for me keep workin man ur arts gettin better ^_^

personally i do find this better than a few of ur previous deviations. 
why is it better? well, i like that misty brushing and the minimalistic render is really cool. the relection gives a needed contrast, imo.
the fine curving lines sprawling across are a wonderful touch to this piece. the smaller messy "hairy" render in the bg is really good also. 
a part of ur brushing which looks like some sparkly dust is a must for me to mention too.
