Description
You brushed your hair and looked in the mirror at your home. You hoped you looked like a decent human being, or whatever you were anymore. You were taking your niece to the new Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. You had been hearing of it opening soon, and now, 1987, it has been open for a few months now.

“(y/n)!” Your niece calls, running into your room and attaching herself to your leg. You looked down at her. “Are you ready yet?” She asked. You giggled and picked the small 6 year old girl up and into your arms, turning your room light off and closing the door behind you.

Within minutes, you were both in your vehicle and off you were going to the Pizzeria. It was only 5 or 10 minutes away from your house.

As soon as you locked your car, she pulled you into the Pizzeria, and you both gasped out. It was...amazing! It was huge, and colorful! Children were smiling and laughing as they watched the animatronics sing on stage.

“(y/n), can I go and listen to them?” She asked. Before you could say yes or no, she ran into the crowd, and disappeared. You panicked until you saw the multiple employees around and knew she’d be safe. You breathed out in relief.

“That’s a pretty daughter you have,” a chuckling voice said from behind you. You whipped around to see a guy walk part way out of the shadows. He was tall, about 6ft4, and he towered over you. His skin was dark, seemingly tanned, and he had purple hair. You smiled uncomfortably at him.

“She’s not my daughter, just my niece,” you told him. His smile flickered for a moment before reappearing.

“I was wondering why you looked so young.” He took a step towards you, and your heart picked up in pace. What was he planning? Something about him was off to you. You didn’t exactly feel safe beside him.

You attempted to turn around and go to find your niece, when he grabbed your wrist and stopped you in your spot. You whipped back around, fear in your eyes, and for a second you felt his grip loosen, but it tightened before you could break free.

He leaned down close to your ear, and breathed close to it. You felt the warm breath and shuddered, causing him to chuckle again.

“You know, you are very attractive,” he whispered to you. You leaned away from him.

“Sorry bud, but I’m not interested, so could you please just leave me alone?” You asked, trying to break from his grip. He let out a laugh.

“Oh relax! I’m one of the night guards!” He told you. You stopped struggling as he pointed to his badge.

“Oh, um, sorry then,” he let go of your wrist and you examined for any bruises.

He watched you as you fiddled with your wrist, then making sure your hair was alright, then patting down your clothes, all with that wide grin on his face. You looked up at him.

“Oh, um, my name is (y/n),” you told him, holding your hand out for a shake, albeit slowly. He looked down at your hand, then reached out and completed the handshake.

“Vincent,” he told you. You smiled up at him, then thought for a minute. His smile disappeared and he watched your face as you thought.

“If you’re one of the night guards, what are you doing here during the day? Wouldn’t you be resting, getting ready for your job tonight?” You asked. He shook his head and put a hand on his chest.

“No, I...I don’t sleep very much,” he told you, a bit of tenseness in his voice. “I usually sleep during my breaks,” he told you. Something about that struck you as odd, but you shook it off.

Just as you got ready to say something else, a tugging on your pants made you look down. It was your niece. You picked her up.

“Melody! You should have waited and I would have come with you!” You told her. She seemed to ignore you, and instead stared at Vincent, who stared back with that grin on his face.

“Is that your boyfriend?” Melody asked. Your face went red and you looked at Vincent as he hid his face in his hands to keep from laughing out loud. You put Melody’s head against your shoulder, shushing her softly.

“No no, he’s just a new friend, his name is Vincent,” you told her. Melody held her hand out to Vincent, and he reached out towards her, and she wrapped her hand around two of his fingers.

“Promise me that you’ll keep the animatronics and (y/n) safe?” She asked him. You pulled her back and told her to stop saying such direct things, but Vincent just laughed.

“Of course. Nothing would give me greater pleasure,” he said with a heavy tone in his voice.

“Who’s ready for some pizza?” Toy Freddy’s voice broke through. You let Melody run back into the crowd, and you turned back to Vincent, rubbing your arm.

You both stood in silence, and you turned around and scooted close to him so you could barely make out Melody. When you lost track of her, he’d point her out to you. Thank God at least one of you was tall.

“Can I buy you a soda while you wait?” He asked. You shrugged.

“It doesn’t matter really,” you said shyly. He smiled even wider.

“I’m guessing you like (favoritesoda)?” He asked. You smiled and nodded.

“How’d you know?” You asked. He shrugged.

“Lucky guess. Anyways, I’ll be right back,” he left, staying mostly in the shadows. You smiled softly. Poor guy, he must get uncomfortable in crowds.

Then again, you weren’t too different. You never went to parties, you never liked school because of the packed hallways. You always liked to be alone. In fact, standing here with all these people started to make you uncomfortable.

Just as you got ready to call Melody and leave, Vincent walked back over and handed you your drink. He had that smile on his face. You looked down at your drink. Did he put something in it?

You shook your head. No, why would he do that in a public place like this? You took a sip out of it, and determined it was fine.

“How much do I owe you for this?” You asked. He shook his head and took a drink of his soda, Big Red you think it was.

“Nothing. Consider it on the house,” he said with a chuckle. You giggled.

“Well then, thank you, Vincent,” You told him. He just nodded.

You stood watching the animatronics sing as the children ate their pizza. Melody sat at the table closest to the blue rabbit, the one you guessed was Bonnie.

“Do you have any children of your own?” You asked Vincent. He seemed to stiffen at that question, and you wondered for a second if you had asked a difficult question.

“No….No I don’t particularly like children,” he admitted. You smiled.

“Well that’s nothing to be ashamed of! I’m not too big on kids as well. But Melody, she always calms me down, you know? And kids, they have the most interesting logic!” You rambled on, not noticing Vincent staring at you with a blush on his face and a warm smile.

Melody joined you shortly after, yawning and wanting to take a nap. You nodded to her and picked her up into your arms, and she grabbed Vincent’s fingers again.

“Bye Purple Guy,” she whispered, drifting to sleep and dropping his fingers. He looked at you as if to say “what do I do?”. You just giggled and shook your head.

“Don’t worry about it,” you told him. “See you later, Vincent,” you told him and walked out with Melody.

You got her to your house, where your sister was waiting for you. She was here to pick up Melody, as usual on his day. You transferred her into her car seat and said goodbye to your sister before bounding into your house and falling backwards on your bed.

All you could think about was Vincent, and how nice he was. He was generous, funny, a charmer, attractive- WAIT. Your eyes shot open. Did you just say ATTRACTIVE?! Oh god, you just met him! But your brain told you to sleep. You figured you’d handle your confused emotions when you got up from your nap, and before you knew it, your eyes closed, and you drifted to sleep.
