I haven't painted a Pterosaur in a while but I decided to break the drought with the Pterodaustro. It's typically depicted with Spoonbill/flamingo coloration, which is pretty likely, but I wanted to explore different colorations.Related content

I like the grebe/coot-style foot... webbings? Parachutes? Not sure what the proper terminology is for that type of waterfowl foot. Whatever it is, way to channel your inner All Yesterdays! I know you make no paleoartistic claims, but this sort "plausibly different" look is exactly what the medium needs!

Love it! What a strange critter, and the coloration makes it much more alien. It looks like an animal from another planet or even another dimension.
Which species is next?
I would like to see a giraffe-like azhdarchid, but it's just a suggestion. Whichever species you choose to do next, please keep them coming.

Thanks! I really like to play with semi "out there" colorations. More tropical bird/lizards than then they typical muted tones. The Azharchid is definitely on the list but I might actually tackle a dinosaur too. I'm glad you are liking them.

The bill is actually filled with true teeth (with enamel and everything), they're just extremely long and thin, and there's about a thousand of them.
