Description I do NOT own the photograph, I found it on this video.

According to my copy of "Nashville, Chattanooga & St. Louis Railroad, History and Steam Locomotives" by Richard E. Prince, the "Florida" was built by Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1837 originally for the Georgia Railroad & Banking Company. It was later sold to the Western & Atlantic Railroad Company in 1843 and served the W&A until 1858 when it was retired from service and scrapped. It is very likely that it was the "Florida" that became the first locomotive to roll into Chattanooga, Tennessee in 1848.
