From the second you see the moss covered rocks your eyes are drawn deep into the frame. I can almost imagine myself stepping inside, trees all around me and the first rays of sunrise warming the skin on my face. A truly superb capture, excellently composed and exposed for. Well done you. Simon

So I have a question. First, did you bracket this image or use a Lee grad nd filter? Second, if you didn't bracket, did you fill in the foreground with a reflector or fill light? I'm just curious how to get the sun in such good detail while keeping enough detail to show there are trees there.

I've used Cokin grad nd filters, and I've post-producted to lighten the foreground.
These are some very difficult conditions, with strong contrasts.
