So I decided to another installment of this futuristic circus concept.

Different performers from all over the galaxy have been recruited to show their amazing skills in the most spectacular display you could possibly imagine: Traveling from system to system, planet to planet, town to town, the Circus promises to be a spectacle unlike anything in the galaxy.

Marvel at Manafi, our beautiful, yet fearsome blade dancer. Manafi is possibly the most skilled swordswoman in the galaxy; using the sharpened blades of a massive Gallahorn, she can slice through any opponent with ease, and defend herself against the most horrifying of beasts. Legend has it that her swords have become an extension of her soul, and that she will let nothing come between her and them. Should she ever caught without her bladed companions, her thickly-armored forearms can withstand the blow from most blades, and act as a swift and powerful substitute while she fights for what is rightfully hers. She spends much of her days practicing and developing new skills. Her unique style of martial arts is said to have no equal.

Manafi grew up in the rural mountainsides of her home planet, Galuch in the Griali system. When she was the equivalent of 15 years old, she was trapped in the wilderness, being pursued by a vicious Gallahorn. Manafi had always been a skilled hunter, but was warned to stay away from Gallahorns at all costs. Having been trained in martial arts by her mother, she was able to best the beast by landing her taloned feet into the beast's nostrils and stabbing it through the forehead with her hunting knife and abnormally strong forearm shield. She harvested the massive teeth of the beast before selling the rest for its meat, and took it upon herself to fashion them into the greatest swords ever created. She spent the next several years practicing with local fighters and hunters, refining her skills greatly. By age 24, she was the greatest swordswoman anyone had every seen, and had become very popular within her own community. She performed acts in front of crowds, she played in staged productions and participated in hunts. She was happy with her life and her family, but her life changed when the circus arrived.
It was a curious production, run by a member of a mostly unheard of species; a human known as The Ringmaster. Apparently a Circus was an ancient stage performance of the human race where different people with amazing skills would come together and entertain audiences. Manafi wasn't about to let an opportunity like that pass. She confronted the Ringmaster and asked if she could present her blade-dancing act; a routine that she proudly designed involving difficult dance progressions along with twirling, throwing, catching, and creating abstract visuals with her own swords. The Ringmaster agreed, and after the show finished, she thanked the regular performers and started for home. However she never made it back to her paradise in the mountains. The henchmen of the Ringmaster caught up to her and made sure that she left the planet with them, swords and all.
